Gay started off strongly winning both the 100m and 200m at the Adidas Track Classic. Gay broke the American record in the 100m, running 9.77 seconds. He also ran the fastest wind aided 100m time, running 9.68 seconds. His first place finish at the trials solidified his Visa Champion title and qualified him for the 2008 Beijing Olympic Games. |

Kerron's 400m hurdle time of 47.24 (a personal best) earned him 1261 points and a narrow victory over Gatlin and John Godina at 1253. |
